Luck like this seems rare these days. I remember by Dad taking me out in his canoe to this lake in Michigan where we'd catch almost record size crappies and perch all day long. We'd catch just enough to make a nice dinner, then release the rest. Went back to that lake a couple years ago, fished all day and all I caught was a sucker and a carp. What a shame.

Thats a fucking strike indicator so when you're using wet flies you know when you get a bite, same idea as a bobber makes it easier to keep your hook/fly in the same spot and easier to detect a bite. You're the dumbass and obviously haven't seen enough flyfishers.
